Why Storytelling?

  • Florence Nightingales’ 1854 Coxcomb chart that showed more people died from lack of nursing care than battle wounds?
  • Steve Jobs’ introduction of iPhone. Actually, almost all his presentations?
  • Lego’s promise that “Each one of us is a builder. We can create magic.”
  • A teacher teaching a child about ancient India through its music and art

Each one of them told a story. They used data, emotions, pictures, words, music. They used the structure of a story and the craft that comes with years of practice.

In between “Once upon a time” and “Happily ever after”, there lies a story.  Research says that over 65% of human conversation is centered around stories. And that doesn’t change in business. Stories. They are memorable, personal and actionable.

At Kahaniyah, we believe in the power of stories to teach, connect, inspire, influence and enable action. “We are all stories in the end.” We work with teams to enhance business and learning outcomes - through the structure and the magic of stories.

Our Approach

We follow a 3-step process to build the story

Finding the story: Find the stories that are real and relevant to you. Both personal and for your brand.

Crafting the story: Choose the right method to craft your story. Bring in design, narrative structure and the power of context.

Telling the story: Practice the best ways to tell your story. Choose the right channels and the best way to understand your specific audience.

How we engage

We offer two modes of engagement:

  1. Workshops: We conduct workshops specific to your learning and business outcomes where we do not just provide training on the tools and the methods but also have a process of guided practice to reach the desired outcomes.
  2. Custom engagements: We structure organization specific engagement where we help you across he 3 steps of the story building process.

Meet the Team

Write something about the people who make your business go or your philosophy behind customer service.
Why? Because people want to know who they're doing business with. It's a human thing.
